restorationFulfilling part of our comittment towards the restoration and conservation of our cultural heritage, we assist, participate and conduct restoration project. Recent projects include, Gardens Luqa Briffa (incollaboration with the Restoration Unit of the Ministry for Resourses and Works), the Cross at Gregorio Bonici Square (by the Parish Church), Casa Perellos (the Country house of Grand Master Perellos; restoration by private sector), Villa Cagliares (by the private sector) and the Police Station (by the Commisioner of Police).

We also embarked on a project to restore the character of the antique part of the village. Such initiative include the replica of an oil press which was used in the times of the Roman Empire (13th December Square), the re-positioning of the mile stone (at Republic Square), world War II victims memorial (at Reoublic Square) and the adaptation of street lighting systems and street furniture in conformance to the antique character of the village core.
